Consortium

The ThunderStack consortium brings together six leading partners from five European countries, combining complementary expertise in:

  • Solid oxide electrolysis cells
  • Advanced materials
  • Manufacturing
  • Modelling
  • Recycling
  • Balance-of-plant integration
  • System validation

The consortium includes top universities, industrial technology developers and research organisations, creating a strong link between fundamental research, scalable manufacturing and industrial implementation.

This multidisciplinary collaboration will accelerate the development of high-efficiency and durable solid oxide electrolyser stacks for large-scale green hydrogen production.
