The ThunderStack consortium brings together six leading partners from five European countries, combining complementary expertise in solid oxide electrolysis cells, advanced materials, manufacturing, modeling, recycling, balance-of-plant integration, and system validation. The consortium includes top universities, industrial technology developers, and research organizations, creating a strong link between fundamental research, scalable manufacturing, and industrial implementation. This multidisciplinary collaboration will accelerate the development of high-efficiency and durable solid oxide electrolyser stacks for large-scale green hydrogen production.
